The MFM WindowWrap White is a self-adhering and self-sealing, 25 mil, waterproofing tape that is composed of a white polymer film coated with an adhesive rubberized asphalt. This waterproofing tape is made to be an airtight, watertight, and sound-reducing membrane as long as it is applied to a clean and dry surface that is free from oil. This particular window wrap must be applied in clear, dry weather conditions above 35 degrees Fahrenheit. This membrane is safe for applying directly to sheathing or over house wrap. Window wrap is intended for metal, wood, vinyl, house wrap, and masonry. During the application process, the release liner must be removed before applying the membrane onto a surface. This particular membrane must be covered within 30 days of application. MFM WindowWrap white, in particular, can not be applied over flexible vinyl gaskets. MFM backs WindowWrap White with a 10-year limited warranty.
